Protection of karst cave animals in Shilin area

The paper reports the significance of the research and protection of karst cave animals. It introducesthe general situation of environment and the present condition of the cave animals in Shilin area, Yunnan prov-ince, China. We make a suggestion of protecting cave animals in this region. In addition, we suggest protectingsome caves according to the species richness and abundance of cave animals and the distributive condition of spe-cial species and rare species.
