Recognition of coal and gangue based on coal transport volume control system

This paper was based on recognition of stowage in coal transport volume control system.According to the differences in the grayscale and texture of coal and coal gangue,and using the merit of LBP operator in image processing,the article put forward a recognition method of coal and coal gangue based on LBP operator.The paper emulated and achieved recognition algorithm using MATLAB language.Compareing former algorithm with LBP algorithm,the article received the superiority of LBP algorithm.
