For the situation that intramuscular fat content is an important factor for influencing pork quality and flavor and an efficient and rapid living body determination method does not exist, the invention discloses a method for quickly determining intramuscular fat content of fattening duroc landrace big white. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, establishing a regression equation between back-fat thickness and intramuscular fat content of the fattening duroc landrace big white through the actual measured data; then, determining back-fat thickness of a living body to be measured, treating through the regression equation, and calculating the intramuscular fat content of the live pig. According to the invention, the regression equation between back-fat thickness and intramuscular fat content is established and is input into an intelligent processing device such as a mobile phone or a computer through one procedure, and then the intramuscular fat content is quickly estimated by determining back-fat thickness, so that a basis is provided for the fact that pigs become full grown and are ready for slaughter when the pigs are provided with proper intramuscular fat content and the pork quality is improved. Moreover, the technical scheme is low in implementation cost and quick determination is realized.
