The invention provides a rigid connection joint of a multi-cavity concrete-filled steel tube composite column and a steel beam as well as an assembly method. The rigid connection joint comprises steel plates arranged on the two sides of the multi-cavity concrete-filled steel tube composite column, wherein an upper cover plate is arranged at an upper flange of the steel beam, a lower supporting plate is arranged at ta lower flange of the steel beam, two connection steel angles are arranged at a web plate of the steel beam, and both the upper cover plate and the lower supporting plate are connected with the steel plates. Physical isolation between athe beam and athe column changes a force transferring path of the a traditional joint and eliminates three-axis stress concentration, so that a plastic hinge can be transferred outwards from the joint to the beam, and defects that the a traditional joint column flange is torn and broken and the joint rotation capability depends on a weak plate area of the column web plate are overcomeeliminated. The design and principle of strong column weak beam and strong joint weak component are met. Besides, the joint can be divided into two parts to be respectively prefabricated in the a factory, and only needs to be simply assembled on site, so that the joint is simple in structure and high in assembly degree of the joint structure is high.
