Reaction behavior of heavy FCC naphtha desulfurization by hydrogen transfer

2011
This scope of present study was investigated the desulfurization reaction performance of heavy FCC naphtha through fluid catalytic cracking(FCC) process on a special designed sulfur reduction catalyst(DS-Cat).The effects of operation conditions such as reaction temperature, weight hourly space velocity(WHSV) and catalyst-to-oil ratio(CTO) on desulfurization ability and products distribution were elucidated employing confined fluidized bed apparatus. Results showed that high temperature is favorable to reduction sulfur content of gasoline but not conducive to maintaining the liquid yield. As CTO and WHSV are increased, the desulfurization percentage exists a maximum value.Optimum operation condition was obtained at 440℃, WHSV 20 h~(-1),and CTO 5.0 with 49.63%sulfur reduction.
