CO Observations of the Molecular Cloud Encompassing Sharpless 222

1 2CO observations around Sharpless 222 (Sharpless 1959) reveal a very wide region of CO emission at a temperature of about 10 K. There is a ridge of enhanced emission along the southern portion of the molecular cloud. HI emission associated with S222 lies above this ridge.
