Article is devoted to the problem of surgical treatment of ulcer disease of duodenum, in particular, to the problem of complicated stump during the resection of the stomach. The authors have offered for the first time the topographo-anatomical grounding for choosing the place of duodenum crossing and their own method of stump formation, authorised by the patent of the Russian Federation.
