Anforderungen an die bauliche Instandhaltung in Kraftwerken

2011
Measures of structural maintenance frequently are taken not until damage has occurred which affects power plant operation. This kind of disruptions can be avoided by predictive structural maintenance to the maximum extend. Because of the great importance in terms of safety and economics, the paper on hand presents requirements on structural maintenance as well as main features of life-cycle management. The focus of life-cycle management is to collect different mechanisms of ageing and damage systematically and to face them under consideration of structural safety and economic efficiency. It is recommended to classify discovered damages cases and deteriorations by two categories depending on safety hazard or not. In case of safety hazard, there is an instantaneous need for action otherwise civil maintenance can be postponed for a certain period of time. Furthermore it is recommended to divide each of the two categories by two grades of impact on power plant operation. The article is completed practical examples which clearly show that structural maintenance in due time is important for safety and reliable power plant operation with a low rate of failures.
