Probe into optimal combination of parameterization in continuous power flow

This paper proposes an optimal combination of parameterization method in voltage stability analysis with continuous power flow. In this method, the PV curve is divided into three zones by the absolute value of load power variation, and then based on the zone division, the parameterization is analyzed and selected in each part so as to get the optimal combination of the parameterization method in the whole zone. This method can not only improve the computational efficiency of the continuous power flow, but also apply to AC/DC hybrid system, ensuring and accelerating the convergence of the power flow calculation. By applying the optimal combination of the parameterization method to IEEE 118-nodes test system and AC/DC hybrid system for simulation, the results show the validity of the proposed method.
