Unequal wall thickness hollow wire of rotor winding and processing technology thereof

2009
The invention provides an unequal wall thickness hollow wire of a rotor winding and processing technology thereof, and belongs to the technical field of thermal power rotor windings. The unequal wall thickness hollow wire comprises a hollow conductor with a square cross section, wherein square holes are formed in the hollow conductor; two opposite sides of each square hole have the same thickness; and two adjacent sides of each square hole have different thicknesses. The hollow wire is made of 0.1 silver-bearing copper by performing processes in turn, namely vacuum melting, element proportioning, ingot casting, tube formation by extruding, and cold drawing by using a specially-shaped die, to obtain required hollow wire shape and size, wherein copper and silver accounts for more than or equal to 99.5 weight percent; and the silver accounts for more than or equal to 0.06 to 0.12 weight percent. Compared with the prior art, the unequal wall thickness hollow wire is mainly used for the rotor winding of a large-capacity thermal power generator, wherein the conductivity at the temperature of 20 DEG C is not less than 56m/omega.mm ; the tensile strength is more than 270; and the Brinell hardness is between 80 and 90. In the hollow wire of the invention, the gaps of the conventional product are eliminated, so that the heat emission efficiency is improved; simultaneously, the cold drawing technology is introduced into a production process to ensure that every item of dimension and form and position tolerance are efficiently controlled, the working rate is improved, the rejection rate is reduced, and the product cost is reduced.
