Simulation research on instantaneous position measurement of explosion point of general industrial camera

In order to solve the problems that the structure of existing explosion point space location detection system is complex and the cost is expensive, a simulation research was carried out which is on instantaneous position measurement of explosion point based on general industrial camera. A high-brightness LED lamp that flashed at a certain frequency was designed to simulate cannonball explosion, that is, a transient flash unit. The photoelectric sensor detected the light signal generated by the LED and converted it into an electrical signal. After signal processing, two ordinary industrial cameras were controlled to expose and capture at the same time according to signal amplitude. The images were digitally processed to obtain the position coordinates of center of explosion spot in two images in combination with relative position relationship between two cameras, and the position coordinated of explosion point were finally calculated. The experimental results show that at the distance measuring system 24 m, 32 m, and 48 m, the absolute maximum error in the horizontal direction \begin{document}$X$\end{document} is 127 mm, in vertical direction \begin{document}$Y$\end{document} is 68 mm, and in depth direction \begin{document}$Z$\end{document} is 279 mm. The system has the advantages of fast response speed, high precision, low cost, etc., which meets the requirements of system detection.
