Resolution and independence: a review of the NDT applications centre (1970-1994)

Nuclear Electric is concentrating most of its technology support staff on, to one site. As part of this reorganisation, the NDT Applications Centre At Manchester will be replaced by NDT Groups in new management units at Berkeley Technology Centre in Gloucesterhire. It is fitting at this occasion to glance back at what NDTAC has achieved in its 24-year existence (see box) and to look forwards at what can be achieved in the future
