Controller Falsification in Automatic Drug Delivery for Neuromuscular Blockade Control

2005
The paper studies the application of a Controller Falsification test for the supervision of automatic drug delivery for neuromuscular blockade control. The purpose is to ensure a suitable control performance by discarding unsuitable candidate controllers for the patient under operation. The insensitivity of the test to the reference amplitude can be exploited by testing the candidate controllers in the loop with a reduced, less invasive, drug infusion.
