Computer simulation of upflow rough filtration

This study tries to use upflow rough filtration as the pretreatment for slow sand filtration. A computer-aided simulation used to observe the influence of changing filtration parameter on upflow rough filtration is necessary because of the long term of operation cycle. Both results of the experiment and simulation show upflow rough fdtration holds the characteristics of simple operation, easy maintenance and stable performance.
