INVESTIGATION OF THE QUASI-LOCAL LEVEL IN THE VIBRATIONAL SPECTRUM OF THE Ti LATTICE WITH HEAVY IMPURITY ATOMS.

A quasi-local level appears in the vibrational spectrum of a titanium lattice containing 5 at % of uranium. This is investigated both by neutron inelastic scattering techniques and by measuring the low-temperature heat capacity. The results obtained are found to be in satisfactory agreement with theoretical calculation. [Russian Text Ignored].
