Über monoterpenoide Valeriana-Alkaloide†

In Valeriana officinalis L. werden dunnschichtchromatographisch 12 Dragendorff-positive Zonen nachgewiesen, von denen die Hauptzone mit dem von Torssell und Wahlberg aufgefundenen Hauptalkaloid identisch ist. Eine weitere Zone wird (S)-(-)-Actinidin zugeordnet. Biosyntheseversuche geben Hinweise, das Mevalonsaure als spezifischer Precursor des Actinidins und des Hauptalkaloids fungiert und das die C6-C2-Seitenkette des Hauptalkaloids aus Tyrosin hervorgeht. Monoterpenoid Valeriana Alkaloids Analysis of Valeriana officinalis extracts using TLC showed 12 Dragendorff-positive zones. One of them was identical with the main alkaloid described by Torssell and Wahlberg, a second one is shown to be (S)-(-)-actinidine. Biosynthetic experiments gave evidence for mevalonoid origin of actinidine and the main alkaloid, whereas the C6–C2 side chain of the main alkaloid is derived probably from tyrosine.
