O PROGRAMA ESCOLAS BILÍNGUES DE FRONTEIRA: CRUZANDO TERRITÓRIOS. RECONHECENDO CULTURAS?

This article is the result of a doctoral dissertation that investigated the intercultural projects in Foz do Iguacu, a city of the triple border in western Parana. Here we discuss the Border Bilingual Schools Program, specifically studied at the border, as it happens in other border regions of Brazil, seeking to understand its operation, its benefits and limitations. Investigates how the PEBF occurs in two schools that are involved: Municipal School Adele Scalco Zanotto, located in Foz do Iguacu and 164 Escuela in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. The lessons PEBF - Bilingual Schools Program Frontier in Foz do Iguacu were initiated in the second half of 2006 and closed at the end of 2009, and resumed in 2011. Article prioritize the analysis of the first two years of the program at the border, and the work done by the Brazilian school teachers in Argentina.
