The work of the Department of Clinical Laboratory Diagnosis of the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Medical Education over a period of 60 years

: The author reviews the training and research activities of the Chair over the 60 years of its existence and the contributions of the scientists who have worked there. Special attention is given to the activities of one of the heads of the Chair, Professor A. Ya. Althauzen (1890-1960), whose birth centennial was remembered in 1990.
