Statistical analysis on the papers and authors published in the Journal of Fruit Science in 2001-2007.

Using biblio-metrical method,the author groups,the core authors,the distribution of the author's working re-gion,the published time of articles and the co-writer rate of the 1 066 articles published in the Journal of Fruit Science from 2001 to 2007 were statistically investigated.Results showed that the rationality of this Journal being the Core Journal among the magazines published in Horticultural Science in the past 7 years was confirmed.The quality of the articles published in it was much improved;the core-authors for it was formed and the co-writer's rate was increased,reaching up to 97.08%.
