Heavy metal compounds in alluvial soils of the Middle Ob Valley

The forms of heavy metals (Zn, Cu, Mn, Co, Pb, Cd, and Sr) and their distribution patterns in alluvial soils of the Middle Ob Valley were studied. Data on the composition of Tamm, Grimm, 1 N HCl, and ammonium acetate (pH 4.8) extracts are analyzed. The Tamm's extract is found to contain the major part of heavy metal compounds.
