Coupling apparatus and method for assembling such a coupling device

The present invention relates to a coupling device (10) for connecting a motor (100) and a transmission (200) of a vehicle, in particular a rail vehicle, with - a first flange (12) for torque-transmitting coupling with the motor (100) and a second flange (14) for torque-transmitting coupling with the transmission (200) - a first clutch assembly (16) comprising at least a first thread-reinforced joint device (22), said first clutch assembly (22) side of the first thread-reinforced joint device (22) from remote from the first flange (12) with the first flange (12 ) is connectable, - a second clutch assembly (18) comprising at least one second thread-reinforced joint device (26), said second clutch assembly (18) starting from the second flange (14) side facing away from the second filament-reinforced joint device (26) with the first flange (16 ) is connectable, and - at least one connection arrangement (20) which connects the first coupling assembly (16) and the second clutch assembly (18) to each other along an axial direction substantially. The present invention further relates to a method of assembling such a coupling device.
