The invention discloses a networking setting method for a household appliance. The networking setting method comprises the steps that: the household appliance accesses a wireless network according to a default access password; the household appliance establishes a connection with the terminal; the household appliance receives a new access password input by the terminal; and the household appliance accesses the wireless network according to the new access password. By implementing the networking setting method for the household appliance provided by the embodiments of the invention, the household appliance can access an encrypted wireless network without setting an input device, thereby reducing the cost and improving the user experience.
