Case of Probable Mineralocorticoid Excess Without Hypercortisolism Due to a Carcinoma of the Adrenal Cortex

A patient with primary hypermineralocorticism due to a carcinoma of the adrenal cortex with autopsy is presented. This seems to be the first case of an adrenal malignant tumor producing pure hypermineralocorticism. Some comments are made about peculiarities of the clinical, metabolic and pathologic picture.
