Design of 6.6kV Shore Power Supply based on Virtual Synchronous Generator Technology

As the high-voltage shore power supply power electronic interface has small inertia and the system frequency is easily affected by load fluctuation, a novel control strategy was presented based on virtual synchronous generator(VSGs). This paper mainly introduces the main circuit parameter design, control strategy design of high-voltage shore power supply, and the design of active and reactive loop parameters in VSG technology. When designing active loop parameters, a method of parameter root trajectory was proposed, which is small in calculation and can meet the requirements of the "best setting" method. Finally, a simulation model of 6.6kV/60Hz high voltage shore power supply was built in Matlab/SIMULINK environment. The results show that the performance of the model conforms to Chinese standards and the introduction of VSG technology suppresses the rapid fluctuation of frequency under load abrupt conditions effectively.
