Kadınların Gebeliği Önleyici Yöntemleri Kullanma Ve Tercih Etme Nedenleri

This survey study has been carried out to determine the usage of contraceptive methods among women aged between 15-49. The research was conducted between 09 March and 22 May 2009 375 women who applied to 60. Year Health Centre in Gaziantep with 165 volunteers women who were married and using contraceptive methods at the time of the research. Data were collected using a face-to-face interview technique with the questionnaire developed by the researchers. Means, percanteges analysis were used for statistical analysis. The average age of the participants were 28.9±5.8; 54.5% of them have two or fewer children; 70.9% of them have used a contraceptive method. It was also found out that all of the women used a contraceptive method where in 50.9% of them used oral contraception. The results indicates that most of the women use family planning methods.
