e12651 Background: survival of patients with pleural mesothelioma is generally poor. We retrospectively evaluated clinical data and survival of mesothelioma patients who were treated in 6 Centers in Italy. Methods: 358 pts were included. The association between prognostic factors and survival was analyzed in univariate and multivariate analyses Results: median age was 69.6 (range 36-94) and 74% of patients were male.PS was 0-1 in 94%, 2 or more in 3%.Epithelioid (79%) was the most common histology.Surgery was performed in 23% of pts. Radiotherapy was performed in 37%; 7% of patients underwent trimodality treatment. First line chemotherapy was administered to 99% and pemetrexed-based chemotherapy was administered to 68% of pts. Overall median survival was 19.1 months (95%CI 16.6-21.6). 18% of pts survived > 36 months. Factors significantly associated with survival in univariate analysis were age (younger better, p < 0.001; < = 7034.5 vs 15.4), PS (0-1 better, p 0.005; 19*.6 vs 7.4), surgery (p < 0.001; 38.3...
