Multi-Vehicle Cooperative Positioning Correction Framework Based on Vehicular Blockchain.

Although existing cooperative positioning methods have improved vehicular Global Positioning System (GPS) positioning accuracy to varying degrees, they still have challenges in further improving system positioning accuracy, robustness and security. In this paper, we propose a multi-vehicle (sensor-rich vehicle) cooperative positioning correction framework for improving GPS positioning accuracy of common vehicles. Furthmore, to improve system security and robustness, the connections among sensor-rich vehicles, common vehicles and roadside units are built by a blockchain architecture. And the corresponding smart contract is designed. Extensive simulation results show the accuracy, robustness and security of our proposal in terms of vehicular positioning, information transferring and sharing.
