Method and device for detecting starter idle

The invention discloses a method and device for detecting starter idle. The method comprises the following steps of: detecting a key power-on signal and an igniting signal of an electric control diesel engine; detecting the lowest voltage of a storage battery; detecting the rotating speed of the electric control diesel engine; judging whether the key power-on signal and the igniting signal of the electric control diesel engine are at a power-on state or not, wherein the lowest voltage is more than a first voltage threshold value and is less than a second voltage threshold value; and determining a starter at an idle state when the rotating speed of the electric control diesel engine is zero, wherein the first voltage threshold value is less than the second voltage threshold value. According to the application, the detection of a fault namely starter idle in the electric control diesel engine can be realized.
