Crystallographic anisotropy of the Zeeman splitting in 1D hole quantum wires
2010
Abstract In this work we study the Zeeman splitting in induced ballistic 1D wires fabricated along two orthogonal crystallographic directions [ 2 ¯ 3 3 ] and [ 0 1 1 ¯ ] . Our data shows that the g -factor anisotropy for the high symmetry [ 0 1 1 ¯ ] direction can be explained by the 1D confinement only, whereas in the case of [ 2 ¯ 3 3 ] direction, the interaction between the 1D confinement and crystal anisotropy effects is evident.
