Mountain Resort dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Berkelanjutan di Kecamatan Ngargoyoso Kabupaten Karanganyar

Karanganyar is a province in Indonesia that is quite able to attract many tourists both domestic and foreign tourists to come and visit to enjoy the natural beauty to learn Javanese customs and culture. And the area of Karangayar Regency that is interesting to visit is the part that is at the foot of Mount Lawu. An important component in the tourism sector is the availability of varied accommodation in terms of standards and of course comfortable. While the Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of hotels in Karanganyar Regency also increased, namely from 26.87 percent in 2016 to 35.89 percent in 2017. Likewise with the Rate of Use of Beds (TPTT) which increased compared to the previous year ie from 26.87 percent in 2016 to 35.89 percent in 2017. Meanwhile, during 2017 there were foreign guests staying with an average stay of 1.28 nights. And domestic guests with an average stay of 1.15 nights. Adequate facilities and infrastructure are some of the important instruments in tourism needs. This raises the problem of low room occupancy rates in Karanganyar district, which is very low, recorded in 2017 at 35.89%, this figure is compounded by the low average stay of tourists who stay less than 2 nights. The purpose of the design is to design a resort in Ngargoyoso District, Karanganyar Regency, to increase the interest of tourists to stay in the tourist area in the Karanganyar district and be able to maximize the potential of existing sites. The goal of designing the resort in the Ngargoyoso Subdistrict of Karanganyar Regency is to be able to apply the concept of sustainable architecture to mountain resort design. The discussion method applied in this paper is descriptive, namely by conducting data collection. This data collection is carried out through literature and comparative studies, to then be analyzed and carried out an approach that is the basis for the preparation of the concept of planning and design programs. The results of the study show that the site area in Ngargoyosso Subdistrict Karanganyar Regency meets the criteria and potential that supports resort development.
