Intracrystalline segregation and brittle fracture of alloys YuNDK24 and YuNDK35T5

1970
1. Intracrystalline segregation in alloys YuNDK24 and YuNDK35T5 is desirable, since it creates conditions inhibiting crack propagation. 2. To reduce the brittleness of these alloys it is necessary to reduce the time at high temperatures. For the YuNDK24 alloy we recommend a low-temperature treatment, which ensures good magnetic properties and retains the dendritic segregation.
