Preparation of powder polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer

Polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer of good performrance was synthesized with methoxypolyethylene glycol 1000, methoxypolyethylene glycol 2000,methacrylic acid,inhibitor,catalyst,initiator,and dried by spraying.The results showed that the preparation process of big monomer and synthesis process of polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer was feasible by characterizing the product with GPC.The influences of different types and particle size of separant on the storage stability of powder polycarboxylate superplasticizer were tested.The results show that the smaller particle size separant was beneficial to storage life at the equivalent dose.By using it into the thermal insulation mortar,the tensile and bonding performance of the adhesive mortar and polystyrene board can be improved,and the destroy area of EPS could obviously increase at the wet-curing.By using it into concrete,the adaptability of cement and the performance of concrete were good.
