Application du concept développement durable au traitement des sols dans les travaux de terrassements

Following the need of the society to evaluate works impacts on the environment, the professional, scientific and technical community decided to collaborate, in the framework of the French national research program TerDouest, in order to develop an impacts evaluation methodology dedicated to earthworks issues. The goal of this paper is to present a larger approach which identifies environmental and societal indicators considered as relevant regarding earthworks issues (climate change, energy consumption, minerals and water consumption, nuisance to residents and users of public roads,…).
