The invention discloses bamboo-wood composite laminated timber for a structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The bamboo-wood composite laminated timber comprises a first recombined bamboo layer and/or a second recombined bamboo layer and a wood layer. The wood layer is combined with the surface, opposite to the wood layer, of the first recombined bamboo layer and/or the surface, opposite to the wood layer, of the second recombined bamboo layer. The length direction and the long texture direction of the first recombined bamboo layer and/or the length direction and the long texture direction of the second recombined bamboo layer and the length direction and the long texture direction of the wood layer are kept parallel and consistent. According to the specific structure, the bamboo-wood composite laminated timber is of a three-layer structure formed by combining the first recombined bamboo layer serving as one surface layer, the second recombined bamboo layer serving as the other surface layer and the wood layer serving as an intermediate core layer; and the bamboo-wood composite laminated timber can also be of a two-layer structure formed by combining the first recombined bamboo layer or the second recombined bamboo layer and the wood layer. According to the bamboo-wood composite laminated timber, the strength of the wood layer is improved compensatingly through the recombined bamboo layers, and the problem of insufficient strength of a wood layer is solved, so the strength performance of the bamboo-wood composite laminated timber meets the requirements of timber construction components, and the practicality of the bamboo-wood composite laminated timber is remarkably enhanced.
