A process for the separation of the gaseous reaction products of the steam dealkylation

2007
The invention describes a method of separating the gaseous reaction products of the steam dealkylation of a hydrocarbon fraction in a plant for the production of hydrocarbons from hydrocarbon-containing feed, wherein the reaction products of the steam dealkylation aromatic hydrocarbons, and corresponding alkanes in addition to gaseous reaction products consisting primarily of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and methane produced. The separation of the gaseous reaction products by means of a liquid-gas extraction, in which an ionic liquid is at least included in the extraction agent or the extraction agent is selected from at least one ionic liquid. The particular hydrocarbon fraction (1) is guided via a heat exchanger (2) as a feedstock in a process for the steam dealkylation (3). The reaction products of the steam dealkylation (4) via the heat exchanger (2), at the same time, the hydrocarbon fraction (1) is preheated, and a further cooler (not shown), and dropped into a 3-phase separator (5) out. There, the gaseous reaction products (6) from the hydrocarbons (7) and water (8) are separated. From the hydrocarbons (7) is separated the desired product benzene (9), while the remaining hydrocarbons (10) as well as the water (8) again driven into the insert to the steam dealkylation. The gaseous reaction products are in a ...
