Method for measuring physiological blind spots through perimeter and visual chart

2016
The invention relates to a method for measuring physiological blind spots, in particular to a method for measuring physiological blind spots through a perimeter and a visual chart. The method includes the steps of measuring the distance between a node and a retina, measuring the blind spots through the perimeter, detaching an eye rim support and a jaw supporting frame on the perimeter, fixing the perimeter to an experiment support through a dual-concave clamp, keeping the eye rim support horizontal to the center of a central disc of a perimeter arc frame and perpendicular to the central disc, measuring the blind spots of a right eye, putting the perimeter arc frame at the horizontal position on the right side, making the right eye of a testee stare at the white point of the center of the central disc of the arc frame without moving, moving a white cursor along the horizontal arc frame by a tester, and recording the radian value at which the testee can not see the cursor. The horizontal diameter and perpendicular diameter of the blind spots and the distances between the blind spots and a central fovea are calculated through a blind spot calculating method, the problem that a traditional physiological blind spot measuring method is large in error is solved, and the accuracy of the measurement result is improved.
