Automatic Diagnosis of Cardiovascular Diseases Using Electrocardiogram Data and Artificial Intelligence Algorithms: A Systematic Review

Cardiovascular diseases are now among the top ten causes of death in the world [1] and the electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) is a very important tool for its diagnosis, as it is non-invasive, inexpensive and easy to access. It has become one of the most used studies by health experts, in addition to offering a useful tool for artificial intelligence algorithms focused on the prediction of anomalies and automatic diagnosis, achieving promising results in this area of health.
