Approach to Diagnostic Testing

Abstract Diagnostic testing is an important part of the evaluation of uveitis. Targeted testing based on clinical features of the presentation is strongly recommended over a broad, standardized testing for every case of intraocular inflammation. A set of first-line tests for anterior, intermediate, and panuveitis, as well as retinal vasculitis and scleritis, is presented.
