Traitement des polymères par plasmas froids : Les applications industrielles des plasmas froids

1998
. Grafting new chemical functions on a polymer surface is one of the major results of the interaction between a plasma and a polymer. . It is then possible to taylorise the surface reactivity; in particular to obtain any value to the wettability between the most hydrophobic and the most hydrophilic surfaces. . New polymer properties (electrical conductivity, oxygen barrier, chemical inertness...) can also be obtained by thin films deposition (d<1μm) onto the surface of the polymer, keeping safe bulk properties. . Large volume plasma systems are commercially available.
