A contribuição das atividades musicais para o desenvolvimento das funções psicológicas superiores

As funcoes psicologicas superiores, tais como: atencao voluntaria, percepcao, memoria, pensamento em conceitos, imaginacao criadora, sensacoes superiores e vontade previsora sao desenvolvidas por meio das relacoes sociais entre os sujeitos no uso de signos e instrumentos. Dessa forma, objetiva-se estudar como a utilizacao de atividades musicais contribui para o desenvolvimento das funcoes psicologicas superiores, por meio da mediacao docente. Fundamentou-se na Psicologia Historico-Cultural, mais especificadamente nos estudos de Lev Semionovich Vygotsky (1991;1993;1996;1997; 2001a; 2001b; 2005; 2009) e Alexis Nikolaevich Leontiev (1978), alem de autores que se utilizam dos mesmos pressupostos epistemologicos para explicar como ocorre o desenvolvimento do psiquismo humano, dentre os quais, Martins (2007; 2013) e Duarte (2001; 2004). Ademais, relaciona-se as funcoes psicologicas superiores com a musica por estar presente no cotidiano da vida humana, por se tratar, a musica, de um bem cultural da humanidade. Diante disso, pode-se assegurar que a musica, como uma das manifestacoes da linguagem humana, promove o desenvolvimento das funcoes psicologicas superiores por permitir que o aluno realize associacoes, generalizacoes e abstracoes, as quais influenciam no desenvolvimento do psiquismo. Entretanto, constata-se a importância do trabalho do professor enquanto elemento mediador para que o aluno se aproprie do conhecimento cientifico por meio das atividades musicais. The contribution of musical activities to developing higher psychological functions Abstract : Higher Psychological Functions, such as voluntary attention, perception, memory, conceptual thinking, creative imagination, higher feelings and cautious will, are developed through social relations among subjects in the use of signs and instruments. We therefore aimed to study how musical activities contribute to developing Higher Psychological Functions through teacher mediation. This study was based on Cultural-Historical Psychology, and particularly the studies by Lev Semionovich Vygotsky (1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, 2001a, 2001b, 2005, 2009) and Alexis Nikolaevich Leontiev (1978), as well as authors that use the same epistemological assumptions to explain how human psychism is developed, such as Martins (2007, 2013) e Duarte (2001, 2004). It can be asserted that music as one of human language manifestations promotes the development of higher psychological functions to enable students to make associations, generalizations and abstractions that help develop psychism. However, one can confirm the importance of teacher work as a mediating element so that students can acquire scientific knowledge through musical activities. Keywords : Higher Psychological Functions.
