Study of the experimental conditions to obtain dual-wavelength emission in a mode-locked Er-doped fiber laser with strict polarization control

We report the experimental investigation of a dual-wavelength passively mode-locked fiber laser (PMLFL) with double-twist fiber to cancel both, circular and linear birefringence. To obtain dual-wavelength emission, we vary the losses inside the cavity.
