Stabilization and Control of Absorber Tower Chemical Process

Abstract Stabilization and control of dynamic reactions in gasabsorber tower of chemical process are considered in this paper. Two methods are investigated and applied. In the first one a control strategies developed to insure prescribed degree of stability using pole placement techniques. The second method is a decentralized stabilization permitting to determine a set of decentralized controllers stabilizing the overall system. Results of applicatio|n to a six plates absorber tower is presented and discussed.
