The present invention discloses an active organic light emitting diode circuit and a driving method thereof. The active organic light emitting diode circuit comprises a first capacitor, an organic light emitting diode, a switching circuit, a driving circuit, a compensating circuit, a data input circuit and a voltage stabilizing circuit. The driving circuit is used for outputting a driving current. The compensating circuit is used for controlling voltages at two ends of the first capacitor according to a second scanning signal, so that the driving circuit outputs a driving current according to the voltage of a second end of the first capacitor. The data input circuit is used for controlling the voltage of a first end of the first capacitor according to a third scanning signal and a data signal. The voltage stabilizing circuit is used for stabilizing the voltage of the first end of the first capacitor and avoiding floating connection thereof.
