Leather Dyeing in Electric Field

The leather dyeing has been studied by direct-dye through direct current. The influence of different factors on dye up-taking rate was investigated,such as time,temperature and dyeing voltage .The results show that the direct current is beneficial to leather dyeing,and the dye up-taking rate in-creases with the increasing of temperature and voltage . The dye up-taking rate has increased by 18.46% after dyeing for 40 minutes at 24 V,and the dye up-taking rate go up to 99.83% after dye-fixing,which reduces dye content of the waste water and decreased the pollution.
