ON THE POSSIBILITY OF UTILIZING UNIVERSAL RADIOMETER OF THE "TISS" TYPE FOR THE INVESTIGATION OF BETA-ACTIVE PREPARATIONS

Description is given of a device which makes it possible to use the universal TISS radiometer as a recording unit during investigations of beta- active preparations. The existing computer of the apparatus was replaced by an endwindow counter of the MST-17 type fixed in a special carriage of aluminum, The experiments have divulged that without any detriment to the accuracy of studies the heavy recounting devices of the type B, B-2, DP-l00 may be substituted by TISS radiometers, which have as a computer a MST-17 end-window counter fixed in the designed carriage.
