UNCITRAL Model Law: Missed Opportunities for Enhanced Uniformity

The Secretariat of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) along with other international interested parties developed a UNCITRAL Model Law to create uniform standards of arbitral procedure. However this model is adopted for more than twenty years and some of the areas in the model needs to be reviewed.
