The application of thermogravimetry to the preparation of ferrites with varying stoichiometry

1967
A technique of isothermal thermogravimetry is reported for determining the equilibrium atmospheres needed to maintain a constant composition in a ferrite during the variations in temperature which occur during a sintering program. The atmosphere-temperature requirements for the preparation of a cobalt ferrous ferrite of stoichiometric composition and with varying degrees of oxidation are given together with those for manganese zinc ferrous ferrites and for nickel ferrite.
