Экспериментальная модель атеросклероза у крыс, вызванного иммунизацией нативными липопротеинами человека

2012
Immunization of rats with native human LDL leads to anti-nLDL autoimmune reaction accompanied by an increase in LDL-С levels, a reduction in HDL-C, and an epicardial and perivascular increase in the adipose tissue volume, together with endothelial destruction and media disorder. The results achieved prove the hypothesis that autoimmune reaction to nLDL is the cause of atherosclerosis. Our murine model of atherosclerosis induced by heterologous nLDL reproduces key metabolic and pathologic features of human atherosclerosis and is a suitable experimental model of this disease.
