Anti-DHBV of Compound Yinshao San in vivo experiment

2010
Objective:To study the inhibitory effect of TCM Compound Yinshao San on duck hepatitis B virus(DHBV)DNA,and provide experimental basis for developing a new drug for the clinical treatment.Methods:Three-day old Fuzhou brown spotted ducks infected with DHBV which detected by PCR were used as the hepatitis B virus infected animal mode1.40 Positive ducks were randomly divided into five groups:the high dose group, middle dose group and low dose group of Compound Yinshao San,model group, positive control group.Every group had 8 ducks and medicine was given for 21 days. The contents of DHBV DNA in serum were measured by Fluoresceence Quantitative PCR(FQ-PCR).Results:The serum DHBV DNA content was decreased significantly by Compound Yinshao San.The high dose group and middle dose group of Compound Yinshao San could significantly inhibit DHBV DNA replication in vivo(P0.01).DHBV DNA content in serum in high dose group and middle dose group did not return significantly 7 days after stopping treatment, and its inhibitory effects were dose-and time-dependents.Conclusion:Compound Yinshao San could protect duck liver against inflammation by inhibiting the replication of DHBV DNA in vivo.
