PROCESSO DE ENSINO-APRENDIZAGEM NA PESQUISA ODONTOLÓGICA: PROPOSTA CURRICULAR NA GRADUAÇÃO

Objective: To relate the teaching-learning process developed in the curriculum by the research area of ​​the Dentistry course in the light of educational theory. Method: It is a case study in which the proposed curriculum is linked to the teaching-learning process in the area of ​​research of the Dentistry course in a medium-sized city, in the State of Goias. empirical data from the curriculum proposed from the perspective of scientific literature. Results: The findings refer to the teaching of dental research in the current curricular matrix as the structuring and guiding axis of the other vertical axes that are articulated in each period of the course and throughout the course in increasing complexity. It is a proposal based on curricular innovation and aligned with the other subjects of the course that are grouped in the following areas: diagnosis, dentistry, periodontics, surgery, endodontics, dental prosthesis, professional orientation, life cycle, clinic and collective health. Among these areas, the teaching-learning process in the research disciplines themselves are expository-dialogic class, case study, group dynamics, seminar and production of the research project. In this perspective of teaching techniques, it should be emphasized that in this curricular matrix teaching related to dental research contributed as a subsidy for the production of knowledge and interfaces to be produced with the scientific literature, in the sense of improving the academic training of the future dental surgeon, within of their training course as a future professional. Final considerations: The curriculum involves research teaching as proposed in education theory in which teaching-research-extension is articulated as an inseparable triad in higher education.
